Website Usage

Since the website is new to the club, I just wanted to share some information on its use, and request feedback. So far 63% of club members have never logged into the site. This does not mean they have not visited the site to read it, only that they have not logged in to participate. I am hoping that a demo at the game dinner will help people to see it usefulness and get on board. Next, now that the site has been running for a while and people have been using it, and suggestions or request? Thanks, Michael

re: web site usage

Michael: I think that the site is well designed, and the membeship will start to use it more after the demo at the game dinner. I hope there will be more tall tales from the membership as I am interested in hearing about how the hunts are going.

Re: Website Usage

Okay, well I have a suggestion myself! How about a way to enhance text, like Bold, or Italics, etc, or an easy way to add url link to text without having to use html.

The ability to format things would also be nice as well!

Since I am the webmaster, these features have now all been added. To make use of them simply use the icons below the entry window.  Works like a simple word processor. While I am at it I will also see if I can get a spell checker installed.

re: web site usage

Michael:  Nice addition with the word processor function.  This certainly makes the site easier to use. Thanks.

Website Usage

Michael, I think you have done a fantastic job.  This website is far easier to navigate and participate in than most on the interent.  I am sure you have spent a great deal of time on it. I would think that the website would be a great asset in recruiting new members if people are able to find it.

Re: Website Usage

Okay, sorry all for the delays with the spell-checker, but I am running into some glitches. So far, I can get it to check the text, identify the words that are spelled wrong, offer suggestions for corrections, but I can't get it to replace the misspelling with the correct spelling. Hopefully, I will get this figured out by the Game Dinner.
